“President Trump did not campaign for many house members in 2018. He focused his attention on holding the senate. Some speculate that an out of control radical democrat house of representatives was necessary for the unfolding of the “show me” plan.”

I’ve seen that theory. I find it to be an insane, but that’s just me. It sounds like “burn down the house to kill spiders”.

Since the ratification of the 22nd Amendment, the party in charge has only once been awarded a Presidential third term (thank you President Reagan!). On the face of it, the electorate seems to want (or is influenced to want) a change at the top on a very regular basis.

If the Democrat party visuals get so bad that the public can’t easily forget what they’ve witnessed, the “show me” plan will have achieved the desired effect of giving President Trump’s party a rare 3rd term when PDJT can no longer serve. President Trump may be playing a VERY long game.

It will, without a doubt, take that long to effect real change on both the political landscape and the permanent bureaucracy behind it.
