I don’t know if Sonny was a card-carrying Republican but he was certainly a conservative. I was about 19 or 20 when he and Cher came on the scene; I never expected that they were opposites but she sure turned out to be a nutjob. It was a sad ending for Sonny. I can’t say much for Cher!

I was a little younger when those two came on the scene. Yeah they were popular. She was a beautiful young woman whose shtick was playing kinda dumb. Now I realize she wasn't acting.
