I think it is gay as hell but I love it!
And while I like the Stones tune much better, I think YMCA is a much better upbeat choice for after the speech. I always took YCAGWYW as kind of a message to the neverTrumpers who wanted Jeb! but “got what they needed”. The time for that is past, and if YMCA makes people smile and clap along and hear the “MAGA” lyrics instead, great.
I would never use a tune with the line “You can’t always get what you want” at a political rally. Glad that’s gone away.
