I took my best enhancement and -- looking at as an image (not text) I THINK I might be able to see:

1. It IS Flynn, in a cap, of course. (CAVEAT: My personal "facial recognition algorithm" is lousy...)

2. Over his head is a rustic sign -- with a long word in ALL CAPS. Wild guess: looks like it could be, "TANSTAAFL" ("There Ain't No Such Thing As A Free Lunch")

3. What he's holding looks like it might be a cartoon of four people (shown from the waist up)...

I had never seen the good General with that particular expression on his face, and it looked different to me as well. On the other hand, he’s a master spy and if he didn’t have his usual photo face on, there could well be a reason why.
