A full fledged self professed Antifa member challenging the incumbent Antifa sympathizer and facilitator. What a choice?

Is the GOP so weak it will not even put up a token RINO candidate? How about a libertarian?

I’ve been critical of GOP weakness but what’s the upside of getting involved in the morass in Portland? Let the residents wallow in their own problems and let Portland serve as an example to the rest of the country of what a CHOP-ized city looks like.

This unknown Portland candidate would perhaps be taking his/her life into their own hands for very little upside potential.
The majority of normal people would likely not wish to take the physical risk for themselves or for their family.

A republican stands no chance of being elected in Portland and very little chance of winning in the suburbs immediately around Portland.

It is about as “deep-blue” as you can get.

Human nature and history clearly shows that the far-left is horrible at running any size government. It is far easier to tear down the system than to “be the system.”

Portland is the most atheist city in the US and has the most deceived voters in the country. There is no way they will vote for an (R), even though the GOP has run some very good candidates.

Portland has a revulsion at voting for a decent person, never mind party affiliation.

What was once called good will be called evil, Portland’s new motto.
