I finished on a high note February 2, 2020. Haven’t watched any sports since. I am committed to never watching BLM sports ever!
And why just one year? Why not just give it up for good and break the backs of these professional leagues? And break the habit of wasting your time sitting around supporting them?
I was a three sport, three year athlete in high school. I played freshman football ball and wrestled until my sophomore year in college. By then, it was becoming too demanding and I wasn't good enough. I needed to focus on my academics and grades.
But I have never wasted my time after graduating university as a sports "fan". I never had the time. I was always involved in too many other activities, including training as a long distance runner and racing, that took the place of sitting in front of the TV watching games or reading the sports page in the newspaper.
I never grew out of those habits. I haven't watched a football, basketball or baseball game in person or on TV for several decades.
IOW, it's possible to have a life beyond being a sports fan.
I’m Hispanic.
I am boycotting all professional sports from now on.
I have so many better ways to spend my time.
Damn it. So many things I want to stop spending money on because of their offensive and traitorous wokeness. Things like NFL, NBA, etc. But I can’t. I never aspent money on them to begin with. What to do?
Easy enough since almost the entire sports year has been on lock down.
Because it is only white people that they target.
By doing what they're doing, they are being the very racists they speak out against.
Only whites are targeted.
I don't like the arrogance of professional athletes, thinking they are better than everybody else outside of their athletic ability. They should count their blessings instead of complaining.
Professional ingrates.

This is what we are being fed: “There are white people, and people of color”. All people with white skin are racists, even if they do not know it. Because of the color of their skin, no matter their background, white people are “privileged” and deserve to be knocked down. In some cases, physically harmed or killed.
There are more white people than any other race. If we stop spending money on things that further this narrative, this narrative may go away.
I agree. It is not necessary to finance the hate. Period. If we all stop doing it, hopefully it will go away.
You made your point a couple of comments ago. Time to move on.
