When Donna, Lil Debbie, and Hillary repeatedly politically sodomized Comrade Bernie in the 2016 primaries, Comrade Bernie took the DNC to court. The court ruled that the DNC can select their nominee in any way they choose - primaries be damned. Primary voters can go pound sand. Comrade Bernie was paid off and told to shut up. There is nothing to stop the DNC to follow the court's ruling and "do whatever they want" to put up any candidate they want. Hillary is hyperventilating in the wings.
