The FAA requires a 10 mile radius TFR (temporary flight restriction) for AF1.

That plane should not have been allowed to take off?

Very curious, this situation.

My only civilian encounter with Air Force One, was on the tarmac at O'Hare. All traffic stopped, even taxiing aircraft, while AF1 was moving. We didn't move from the taxiway until all-clear.

Either this was a big-mistake or...?
