Does anyone remember that weird exchange I had with Richard Grenell on July 17 about his deleted RBG tweet?
It was so odd (screenshot on the left).
Now compare that to his Twitter exchange with Gen. Hayden today (right)...
1/ For those that are confused, here's what happened with Richard Grenell replying to one of my tweets (now deleted)
2/ Grenell originally sent out a tweet about RBG's cancer (below).
However, when I tried to RT it less than a minute later it had already been deleted. Which I thought was weird.
3/ So I tweeted out a *screenshot* of his deleted tweet and simply wrote:
"Immediately deleted. Dasting."
I then ended up deleting my own tweet because I received this reply from Grenell within 2 mins (forgot to screenshot mine b4 deleting, sorry)
Richard Grenell
Good lord. Check the Grammer mistake that was fixed. Autocorrect is the culprit. You should now delete your accusation.
4/ It confused the F outta me because:
1) I didn't make an accusation. All I wrote was "Immediately deleted. Dasting."
2) When he pointed out his original grammar mistake (it's instead of its) he literally misspelled grammar as "Grammer"
And finally...
5/ How did he respond so fast?
Grenell doesn't follow me, and I tweeted a screenshot of his deleted tweet (he wouldn't receive an RT notification even if he did follow me).
After I unpuckered my asshole and deleted my original tweet I responded to him:
JuliansRum
Sorry, Richard. I wasnt implying anything malicious on your part. Just thought it was odd (didnt catch the its). Especially given Twitters recent...mishaps.
Thanks for all you do. Im a huge fan.
6/ Then I remembered these 2 Q drops from late June, and started speculating on a possible connection here with Grenell's deleted tweet, the errors, and his reply to me:
7/
Could I be overanalyzing all this? Yup
Is it still really weird? Yup
8/ Hat tip to JeffObvious for getting a screenshot of my original tweet with Grenells reply
9/ This question has prevented me from getting decent sleep for the past 3+ years.
Joe Shinkey
Then what are the comms?
10/ I immediately thought back to this too, but again I'm constantly struggling with the thought that I'm just overanalyzing and need to keep my ego in check.
Helen
Wouldnt be the first time this has happened to you...I saw it happen in real time with Kansas a few months ago
11/ No idea. Maybe Grenell just thought it'd be funny to tie my brain in a knot because he definitely succeeded on that front.
Truth Storm ⛈
Did he know that someone like you would catch it, and had the response ready to go? Is that why "accusation" is included, even though there isn't one and doesn't really fit, or is it another clue?
12/ Its also very possible that his reply (and grammar mistake) was meant as comms to others (whitehat operators) and not for anons at all.
