We dont say they die of the flu unless they wound up tested for it, despite comorbidities.

Except, its not. Its an assumed 0.1% death rate. This is due to the estimated number of people not ever tested but believed to not have possibly died from it, so they all survived.
My aunt died of Alzheimers. Well she had Covid 3 months b4 her death.
