Sadly true; 0bama said that his policies indicated the 'new norm'; DJT overthrew that... seemingly. Now, with this Chinese viral invasion we are seeing new norms becoming inevitable. Small example: for years I have gone to get my lab work done one week prior to my regular doctor's appointment. I went this morning to discover that I was unable to accomplish that. The lab now claims 'By Appointment Only' and their web site for reservations indicates that no appointments are available for weeks. I got up at 5 am this morning because the web site said that seniors could show up at 6:30 am; I showed up at 6:30 and was denied service - 'BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!" they shouted. So now I have to plan a different way to get my labs done in time. -- A small example.
My son and I were discussing this later this morning. So many things are changing and we keep saying 'when things return to normal'... but will things ever return to normal? sigh
