I'm not quite ready to throw Abbott under the bus, yet. I have ceased my monthly contributions, and have told his campaign that those contributions now go directly to Donald Trump (I was already contributing monthly to Trump, but increased by the amount I was donating to Abbott.)
HOWEVER, Abbott has been good on 2nd amendment and most other issues. As soon as he rescinds the mask order, I'll look at him more favorably.
That said, he may have fubared his chance at re-election.

I may not like him anymore because of this but there is no one on my radar to vote for besides him right now. There were reasons given in the past as to why he might be sticking with the shut down. But at this point, with numbers dropping and knowledge that numbers have been inflated to begin with becoming more and more public I don’t see why he isn’t moving us back up to 75% open at the least. I’m only hearing crickets.
I’m hearing the same thing.
A temporary error is forgivable, but no one cares if they get the damned flu, but for the vulnerable already-ill and fragile elderly.
Hydroxychloripine is a $7.00 ticket, for crying out loud. For those who want to support Big Pharma, they can always go Tiffany’s and pay hundred$ more for comfort & cure drugs.
Abbot has now over stepped, pottied very near his chili bowl this time and it’s angering those who brought him to the dinner table.
