It's so sad what has happened to Gore. There is no doubt that the Clintons corrupted him.

I mean, look at him now compared to him in the late 80s, when he was one of the few last of the old "lunchbox" Democrats (who should have won in 1988, BTW). If ever there was a moderate label that can be placed on a Dem, it was Gore.

That loss to Bush really took a toll on him. I've read that's part of the reason why his wife dumped him after 30 years of marriage. I mean, can you imagine losing the most powerful position in the world by just over 500 votes? That had to take a mental toll on Gore even worse than Hillary losing in 2016.
