Back and forth on Vietnam, too.
Folks forget he had so alienated everyone by 1970 that he nearly lost renomination in the Dem primary, and then was thankfully polished off in the general.
The vast majority of the military would never side with biden over trump. The few that might would not do so forcefully as they know what their comrades would do to them. Extremely likely if worse case election scenario unfolds is the military sides with the red hats in the streets.
