Lol. I remember those times well. All those songs summoning our Boomer elders to "The Revolution"....

Gracie Slick: "And now it's time for you and me! Got a revolution! Got a revolution!"

"Because the Revolution's here. And you know it's right. And you know that it's right. We have got to get it together. We have got to get it together ... now."

"This summer I hear the drummin'. Four dead in Ohio. Got to get down to it..."

Then all of a sudden, poof, fizzle, kersplatt! It's dead, Jim.

And the next thing you know, it's a couple of years later and Mott the Hoople is singing, "And my brother's back at home with his Beatles and his Stones. Never got it off on that Revolution stuuuuuuff. What a draaaag. Too many sna-a-ags".

What a pathetic epitaph.

Oh yeah, that was “Thunderclap Newman”. A one hit wonder if there ever was one! And if my memory serves me that song was Post-Kent State so he was behind the curve, man..lol
