My dad and his twin brother were on their way to the Pacific to be landing craft drivers in Operation Downfall (Olympic).

All told, I would have had a father and four uncles involved.

I had my father and three uncle involved in WWII.

Two uncles in the fight against the Nazi's.

My Dad and an uncle in the Pacific theatre. They were on a ship over to invade Japan when the war ended. They ended up going to the Philippines to do clean-up of the Japanese hiding out in the country.

Regretfully, I don't remember the name of the ship they were on.
