And it took a nuke to convince the Japs....bodes of evil to come. I personally think that movies and TV and video games have brainwashed these people into an unrealistic state of mind. They’d have been convinced without the nukes, but at the expense of hundreds of thousands of lives, likely including my father’s life. He was in Europe at the time, dealing with Germany, but the plan was to bring a lot of them to the Pacific for the invasion of Japan.
So yeah, guns - plus many, many, many more lives. I would probably not be here had Truman not dropped the bombs on Japan.
And yes, I see the resemblance between today’s youth and the hitler youth, or the ones following Stalin in 1917. Or the ones following Mao in China. In each case, massive murder. That is why I want this group put down. They are DANGEROUS to our Republic, and to our lives.
