I felt that way about the whole night's line up but Ponder's spot was very special. I didn't have very high expectations about this convention. I knew it would be better that the sh*t show the democrats put on, but that was really setting a low, low bar.
So far I have to say that this convention has been the best I've ever seen. They keep it moving along and have had the best convention speakers I've ever seen! I thought the MO. AG (Daniel Cameron?) was outstanding! Can't wait to see what they have in store for tonight.
It's not just the speakers. There has been some serious prep work for this, including powerful composition, extensive rehearsals and fine tuning of each speech. The RNC must have an army of speech coaches behind the scene.
