Haley represented two things. 1. A former administration official who came out strongly supporting POTUS. I think that could be purposeful even if Haley is not totally sincere. She said the right things in a strong way. 2. Family from India. Was there any other speaker from that demographic? Perhaps there could have been a more authentic person with family from India to speak. I don’t know.
Question just came to me: where is the former LA governor Bobby Jindal? He sort of fell off the scene after being more or less promoted as an up and coming conservative R.
