Colin Kaepernicks NFL career is officially over. For months, there has been quiet speculation regarding whether or not he will finally get a chance to return to the league that seemingly washed its hands of him four years ago.
Now we have our answer: no.
This week Mike Florio confirmed that despite NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell essentially coming out and wrapping his arms around Kaepernick, and irrespective of the very public endorsements the 32-year-old received from head coaches Anthony Lynn and Pete Carroll, nobody actually wants to sign him.

2-12 Klapperdick’s career was over a the end of that season, Colon was the only one who didn’t know it.
The NFL has its knee on this patriot’s (my) neck every time they disrespect our National Anthem. Enough is enough. Good riddance to this jerk.
He’s a bum who can’t play. That’s it. If he could play, those pimps in the NFL would gladly sign him. They obviously don’t care about the fans.
I didnt see one race car driver take a knee today when the National Anthem was sung today at the start of the Indy 500. It was a pretty nice moment, the whole opening ceremony. I loved the two flyovers by the Air Force Thunderbirds, one at the end of the Anthem, and the return flight for Gentlemen, start your engines!
Made my heart feel good again.
About time we did.
NFL owners destroyed their business for this guy.
Any team that signed him would be stuck starting him & could never bench or cut him. The owners & coaches knew that but chose this product damaging “dance” instead to solve the problem. Bad business decision sports moguls the bloom is permanently off the rose.
Something else changed. When he was playing good he was bulked up. His girlfriend turned him into a vegetarian. He lost much of his size and playing ability at the same time. He’ll never be close to his 2013 performance ever again. But we are expected to ignore his stats otherwise were all racists.
How did York do him bad?
So I heard
Not to worry Kap, there’s always Afro Sheen.
but the damage is done..
Yep - and the Chiefs fans now have tons of makeup and headdresses and other Indian accouterments and no place to use them...
Nobody screwed him over. He was lucky for a time, blessed with a coach who designed a system around his strengths and weaknesses. He's the ultimate system QB.

Good to hear. I’m done with the NFL live watching if my team takes a knee.....
Been a fan for 60 years, but also come from a family with WW1, WW2, normandy vets . Grandad, and Dad, and me Vietnam Era....
We didn’t risk our lives for some “ aggrieved cause” especially with in most cases 20 year old multi millionaires...

Saw that, was wondering what “ name changes” would follow. Banning those fun, game day outfits etc a direct slap in the face fo the ones who really pay the bills.
i guess he Raiders will be ok, as their fans can dress up like Antifa protestors and still pass as normal.
No offense to you Raiders fans, just a sarcastic comment re PC/Change culture.
Always liked the Madden version of the raiders, and how they came back to respectability under latter coaches..
Thats right. I dont know how many times Ill have to say it, but I will again and again until these overpaid brats understand me. When I hear our National Anthem, I am thinking of those veterans past and present who fought for our country, some of whom made the ultimate sacrifice. I am not thinking about the police and firemen necessarily, though I applaud them also for their sacrifices.
When someone takes a knee at our National Anthem, that person is dissing our veterans. Im not keen on that. I cannot support their kneeling.
True, every bit of it.
Maybe the other "NFL" will take him (National Flu-Bro League).
