I think there's method to the madness behind all the Soros-funded groups stirring up nutcases like this. They're hoping that either one of these happens:

• If the sheer number of truly-disturbed crazies filled with rage against PDJT by the MSM & Twitter reaches a certain tipping point, surely one of these nutcases will be able to get past the Secret Service and do another John Hinckley, that doesn't miss this time.
• Or if the 24x7 news feeds of TDS crazies rioting on the streets become just too much to bear for some nutcase on the alt-right, and he takes his sniper rifle and kills a number of Antifa/BLM types from a rooftop, then they hope that the ensuing MSM tsunami blaming the entire problem on Trump's Terrible Tweets will be enough to swing the swing states back into the Dem orbit.

Either way, they'd win.

But the big risk to them of this strategy is that while they're waiting for one of the above two scenarios to happen, their constant stirring of The Hate Pot is driving more voters towards Trump. If neither of the desired events happen, then their strategy will actually help Trump.
