CHICAGO A daughter captured the shooting of her mother along with two others at a Ukrainian Village barbershop Friday.
Police are investigating after three people were shot inside a Ukrainian Village barbershop Friday afternoon.
Tammy Adams daughter was outside in a vehicle while her mother was in MVP Cuts, located in the 1100 block of North Western Avenue. She was shooting a video on Facebook Live when shots rang out.
Oh (expletive,) Tammy got shot, oh my God, her daughter said.
Adams, 52, was one of three that were shot inside the barbershop.
Police said two males opened the door and fired shots, striking a 18-year-old man, a 20-year-old man and Adams.
He has dreads. A hat on. And some sweat pants and the truck rolled on and tried to shoot him, her daughter said. They missed the boy in front of the barber shop, then shot at the shop.
Police said the 18-year-old was shot in the ankle, the 20-year-old was shot in the thigh and ankle and Adams was shot in the thigh and leg.
All victims were transported in fair condition.
Somebody always getting shot. These kids getting shot, they cant even grow up, her daughter said.

Damn my old neighborhood. I grew up on Thomas and Western which is 1100 North.
Let me guess, 13% keepin’ it real again?
They seemed upset. You deserve it if you keep voting democrat.
Ukraine is game to you?
I’d like to see that video.
My impression was that, unlike many other historic “ethnic neighborhoods” of the past, they did not. Though at the same time, Western Avenue sounds like it borders Humboldt Park, which did change (from Polish to Puerto Rican) in the early 1960s, and is now the front line of northwest/west side gentrification.
“I bet all the true Ukranians moved out of that neighborhood a long time ago ...”
Yup, just like all the Bohunks moved out of Pilsen and Berwyn, both of which are now colonies of Mexico.
