I think they’ll have to come up with some other name for these floating planets than “islands”. Islands stay put. They do not float around. Personally, it astounds me to be told these rogue planets outnumber the stars, and yet nobody has actually seen one, nor has the subject ever come up up until the Year of Our Lord 2020?! Methinks someone is working on a new scam for getting billion$ in research funds. AGW has been shown up for the humungous crock it’s always been; so some new ones will need to be dreamed up.
Islands do move, in a sense. The Hawaiian Islands have been formed as the Pacific Plate has moved southeast over a hot spot. Each island to the northwest is progressively younger.
Movie about a naughty rogue planet. Super depressing film. Really depressing.
My name for them: Floaters
