A friend of mine suggested the airlines offer Covid tests shortly before a flight, in lieu of a mask. Makes sense to me.

I have flown about 25 times since March. Everyone agrees it is pretty miserable and just about all the passengers try to make the whole flying thing work.
I am pleased that all passengers are wearing masks. Common courtesy right now if you ask me.

I can see the testing before boarding making sense for international travel.
I would appreciate this as a passenger just to lessen the odds that you don’t get sick (at least short term) while overseas. It would suck to be sick and quarantined 2000 miles from home.

I saw the video a few days ago. It appears that the woman without a mask and in the pink shirt started throwing punches first. That was after she verbally abused the others.

Yes. I see that all of the people going into a local Walmart would agree with you. But an employee there did say that on some days, one person will take off her mask and leave it hanging from one ear. She also said that those rare individuals will invariably be rather homely, short, obviously generally lacking in hygiene and enormously wide.

This is a colorful idea for inflight entertainment...but they need to limit the competitors to middlewights and below...these super heavyweights are too slow...and could damage the plane or passengers...

The super heavyweight division in MMA generally refers to competitors weighing more than 265lb...

IF I have to fly- I can NOT wait 3 weeks.

Glad I gave up flying in 2002 when the airports starting becoming mini versions of Nazi Germany. Now I couldn’t imagine trying to fly.

I wouldn’t wait 3 weeks, or even 3 days, either. But I think he was referring to the Abbott Labs test that takes about 5 minutes, or newer ones that promise to be even faster. If airlines are interested in regrowing their business, I would think they could come up with a way to make it practical. A lot of people don’t want to wear masks on a plane; others don’t think masks are enough.
