Most people don’t go to bars, restaurants, churches or gyms, and most are not subject to any kind of “lockdown.” Most people don’t care much one way or another about wearing a mask in a store for a few minutes. Most workers by far are working and doing just fine. Many employees have been wearing masks for their employers and/or customers, changing those masks several times during their shifts and have been doing so for months.
Most people will gladly take a vaccine, when it’s available. Nearly none of them will change their minds about that.
And most people are skeptical about much of what they see from social media or hear about social media.

There are the exceptions of those who get violent when told to wear a mask, or think its acceptable to have one connected to their ears, but pulled down under their chin, or those who think its totally acceptable to lower a mask below their nose. Not to mention those who are unkind to an honest forgetfull person. The great response is the guy/gal who says, if everyone else is wearing a mask, why do I need to. Of course the answer is that a mask block contact with surfaces, those would be other peoples bodies, bathroom surfaces, cash (a big one), and surfaces touched by others.
This of course is predicated on the belief that you buy the whole pandemic. Regardless of its source, I believe its real, and so choose to conform if I can.
