***I’ve been using computers since 1982***

Was that an Apple; or Altair (something like that)? It was a life changing time. Many NYC TV network techs used to get together for a late dinner in Chinatown Wednesday nights. Then the computer appeared and many techs disappeared... so did a few marriages. A life changing singularity. I never got it until about 1995. 😕

In 1982 it was a Digital Equipment Corporation PDP-11/64 my senior year in high school. When I went to college it was a CDC-6000 shared with the MA state government. When I went to work for Digital Equipment Corporation, it was VAX machines. I didn’t see a PC until around 1996.
