I know that there are still good and sincere people here.

My problem is with those that I envision as fat, balding guys with lots of moles, sitting behind terminals in basements somewhere, who are - (or probably exorbitantly fancy themselves) - ‘master spies’ with ‘superior inside information’.

I’m especially disappointed when their best craft in trade seems to be to try and pit people against one another.

Don’t get me wrong - I’ve got nothing against fat and balding, which can be sexy and interesting in the right man. But I might suggest that they find a way to get rid of the moles, and perhaps find a less self-compromising line of work...
