Scott Adams is an odd duck. About a week ago, he was defending Gates, saying he was brilliant and had studied these diseases extensively. Not sure how much of this turn around is real, and how much of it is because his audience rebelled.

I've read several of his books, and he claims reality is impossible to know, and that we're all moist robots, and whatever we think that lets us get through life is fine.

Adams is a guy that you start reading and go, "Wow, this guy is crazy." Read three more chapters, "Maybe he's really smart." Three more chapters, "Nope, he's crazy."

He tends to piss me off. It's possible I'm crazy,
but I keep thinking he's smart enough to know better. ;-)
