I just saw an interesting comment on CTH. The commenter said they had just voted in person in Miami-Dade for primary. He or she says that masks were strictly enforced and that no one asked that they be removed in order to I.D. them. Could be another voter fraud angle the DS is planning to exploit. I don’t think it’s as much of a threat as mail-in voting, because even if they aren’t checking people’s faces, it requires a person to actually show up with a fake I.D. that will have to be presented. But it’s something to think about.

Curiously, same thing happened when I early voted. Showed ID, but wasn’t asked to pull down my mask.
The Supervisor of Elections would have recognized me (mask and all), but I don’t think the poll workers would.
I live in Florida. They take your drivers license and run it thru a scanner. That is how they verify you. so not sure if the mask lowering would be necessary

I voted today in Florida
Masks optional, but workers wore them.
I showed my driver’s license and then had to write out my name.
Then they checked the number of my ballot with the printout with my driver’s license.
Very efficient
