chivalry is this, you treat others the way you want to be treated, and you are free to treat others the way they treat you
no exemption for women or age
be an ass to someone, it comes back to you, you dont get spared from it if you’re a woman or kid
Well, if chivalry got warped, it got warped a looong time ago. Go look up “courtly love”, that set of ideas was incorporated into chivalry by the medieval era.
