You're absolutely right. This is a time tested tactic of the derps. First, label something or someone a whack conspiracy theory, and then tag any information that goes against [Them] with that whack conspiracy theory.
That method was developed by the CIA during the JFK assassination investigation and has worked amazingly well ever since, with the unknowing and willing cooperation of people like you.
