Hmmmm . . . maybe it wasn’t a good ides for the NBA and its wealthy, entitled, Black Lives Matter supporting players to start calling their white audience inveterate racists and defaming the country they love as infected with systemic racism.
Inexplicably, my azz. All of us White Folks who have been the real money supporters behind the NBA, NFL and MLB are fed up with the players, many of whom simply are hoodlums. As if that is not enough, the players and the owners are bending over for the likes of BLM and Communist China.
As for me, the sports channels have been removed from my cable channel directory, and I am looking forward to the day that all three sports leagues go belly up due to lack of attendance and TV viewers. A pox on all of them. At least something good has come out of the Floyd riots and the fake Corona Virus shutdowns.

Makes no sense when I have better use for my time. Back in the 80’s I bought my first VCR and set the timer to record “The Enemy Below”, classic WWII flick.
Unfortunately it was preceded by a basketball game that went into overtime and wasted 15 minutes of taping time. I zipped past it and it looked like nothing but monkeys chasing a coconut (yeah, I said it).
Never a fan of spectator sports (exception: hockeyfights.com) but it’s fun to watch these entitled behemoths getting woke and going broke.
And MLB team revenues are down 90-95%.
Owners, players, fans and TV have a reckoning imminent.
Expect fire sales on teams and BKs.
And likely the final nail in the coffin of cable tv which has been using every subscriber to subsidize exorbitant sports contracts.
It’s over.

Once companies let SJWs take over policy they enter into a death spiral. Look at comics. SJWs creators (writers, editors, artists) got control and began hiring other SJWs for every position while openly discriminating against conservatives. Then they started cramming their craziness into every issue of every comic. Patriotic white male Captain America is suddenly a literal nazi and Superman renounced his US citizenship and it got worse from there. When people complained the SJW creators called them every horrific name in the book, they were poisonous in their loathing of the fans. Readership 'inexplicably' tanked. When people said 'see, your sales suck so you'd better change' The creators laughed, they said they didn't care what the fans thought or if they bought stuff. They said they worked for the SJW editors and they were happy with their work so piss off, scumbag fans.
And finally yesterday AT&T (who owns DC comics) finally said 'your fired' to over 400 people. But it's probably too late, the SJWs destroyed the characters for two reasons: to make their loathesome political points and to get followers and praise for themselves on Twitter. Now they are out of work and whining but DC comics is eventually probably going to just be shuttered and the character licensed off.
Moral: don't hire SJWs. If one accidentally slips through make sure they never get any decision making power. If you do decide to pander to them, like the NBA, MLB, and NFL are, expect to see your profits tank, tank, tank.

You’re correct. They are pretty much deeply-embedded in America these days.
I’m just wondering how much time this country has left. They are force-feeding lies through TV, constantly. And people are buying more TV’s because they’re pretty much stuck at home.
I love basketball as much as anyone I know. I’ve tried to watch two games and didn’t make it two minutes each time. I won’t listen to political lectures during a basketball game. Sorry. Each time politics turns on, I turn off. Two minutes each so far.
