I will merely wave gently in the direction of DC Circuit/LTG Flynn etc and note that I've been "waiting for the System to work" since '66 or so.
Nothin' personal, but I've long held the entire legal system to be in need of a real good enema.
I can’t disagree that the legal systems needs a complete overhaul, but it’s silly to expect the judges and lawyers who enjoy the fruits of it or the corrupt and incompetent legislators who wrote the laws they can safely ignore to fix it.
A lawyer friend said “There’s an old saying that we get the kind of laws we deserve. I disagree - we get the kind of laws we DEMAND!”
It’s going to take We the People standing up and demanding better legislators who won’t fall right into the Deep State and become part of it. Then we need to demand they write laws that reflect OUR values, not theirs, and that will hold their feet to the fire if they forget who they work for.
I know it’s a dream, but it’s what needs to happen.
That busness about not wanting to punish anyone unfairly even if the guilty goes free means way too many guilty go free. Now it’s been taken to the point where they don’t even require bail to let arsonists and rock throwers back out to offend again.
Trying to set fire to a building that has people inside because you chased them in there and barricaded the doors is not peaceful protesting.
