What happened to no schools open from dems a week ago?
Now they are racing to cameras to bleat open the schools “for the children.”
They realized it was a losing issue with actual people. Now I guess they’re acting like they thought of it first.
I can tell you that our district’s online first week of school was a disaster. The tech our district chose to use, schoology, did not work. Teachers scrambled to hold online class and sent mass emails revealing student id numbers to other students, and, to top it off, we aren’t allowed to film students but there is no way not to record them in our tech. And that’s all assuming the parents came to school and picked up laptops and hotspots...many didn’t.
It was a cluster.
If it was my kid, I’d be suing the district, but, sadly, our parents are 90% Hispanic, illegal, and afraid to make waves.
