A scam by whom? The Walmart neat me seems to be genuinely out of coins. They are rounding cash purchases up to the nearest dollar, then donating the extra amount to charity.

You can object to that if you want. Then you get your change.

I can’t believe that Walmart would bother to run a con. Some insider would blow the whistle. But who knows?

I am sick and tired if this rounding up donation crap. If they want to do some virtue signalling, fine, but don’t ask me to pay for it.
