If you watched it on TV, Kennedy won. If you heard it on the radio, Nixon won.
Many people make up their minds up based on shallow reasons.
Good example and I’m old enough to remember that. Nixon was “sweating” and described as nervous. Kennedy was handsome, the women were all swooning over him.
