This is getting out of control. Wear a mask, don’t wear a mask—but don’t chase people around to tell them to put them on and whatever one does—don’t beat on cops when they ask you to put one one.
Surprisingly, or not, it’s the mask police that cause the most drama. The rest of us just want to be left alone.
I “quarantined” for the first couple of weeks (ok, 4 days).Since March, I’ve gone to stores daily (without a mask, with a mask under my nose, without gloves, without rubbing my hands with gel, etc.). I’ve traveled, by air and car, to four states, one Florida at the end of June and Georgia this past week. We haven’t done a damn thing in our house (and one daughter is a nurse at a major hospital in philly) since all this started. We had a blow out party for our youngest who graduated college in May in July. Nothing.I haven’t sanitized the mail or disinfected my house ever. We’re still all fine.
We spent the first month, or a few weeks, not seeing family, and that changed quickly. I’m not living my life not seeing my kids and we don’t do masks or not hug and kiss. I only wear a mask to buy groceries, because it’s required in my communist State of NJ.
So five months later, in the 2nd most hotspot in the country, defying all the protocols dictated by the CDC and other communists, we are all fine even with a kid who is a nurse at a major philly hospital.
Go figure.
This is getting out of control.
