The taxation requirements of government can be met without combing through one another’s payrolls, bank accounts, real estate holding, debts and liabilities.

Thanks for that explanation. Makes total sense to me to eliminate it entirely.
Plus you add in the tax behavior breaks, own a home, you get a break, You spend a bunch of money on solar panels, you get a break. Guiding people into a preset behavior is never a good thing.
