I joined Mensa to put it on my resume for IT positions because I don’t have a college degree. High intelligence can be fun if you don’t take it too seriously. In line with what others have pointed out, I have discovered that intelligence is more frivolous than beauty if you don’t use it well. At least with beauty, everyone who sees them has their day brightened a little (unless, of course, they are plagued by envy) ;)
Good for you! Probably smarter because you didn’t go to college. The smartest person I ever knew, never graduated from high school. But he could run rings around plenty of college graduates ( especially todays variety) He was also charming, funny, unassuming and a fabulous chef.
If he needed to know something, he taught himself. And he always worked on improving anything he did.
