Statins darn near killed me. And the doctor got mad at me when I stopped taking them. Got a new doctor.
My doc prescribed them for me and when I found out it was lipotor, I refused to take them as that almost killed my mom and had very bad effect on my best friend. I was surprised he didn’t push the issue. I’m now taking garliq and ginger every day. I trust that more...lol. Get tested again in about 2 months so we’ll see...

last year my labs were very good.
I stopped but it was too late. I have an autoimmune muscle disease since 2010. But the statins did their job. Now due to inability to run, jump, hike, climb or get back up after bending over I can’t replace statins with exercise.
