I was thinking about the obvious - money motivates people. In socialist countries with public health care there is an incentive for seniors to die - they are an economic burden due to health care and they dont pay much, if anything, in income taxes. This is not only true in socialist countries. It is also true in countries/states with bad debt and deficit problems, in addition to some degree of socialist health care (eg medicare/medicaid). Could hydroxychloroquine suppression and sending CV positive people into seniors homes by done intentionally so as to save money? Sure, as long as the politician can deflect away much of the blame that goes with Covid deaths.
Another money motivator that has happened with CV is getting paid by the federal government for taking care of CV people (39k). Similarly, a hospital that is capable of billing unlimited CV adders to insurers would be motivated to have CV patients.
What is the point of discussing these motivators? - there is an excellent chance that the published death rate in a country is substantially driven by these financial incentives. High financial incentives leads to high CV death rates - eg. NY has financial issues and socialized health care areas in Northern Europe such as Belgium have highest deaths per million in the world. Low CV death rates are occurring in poor nations which dont have these financial motivators.

Ping. Freepmail Impimp to go on the ping list.
One of my sons coworkers came down covid, he was on another team or division. One of the other team members is high risk (obese) and was complaining about his safety, so the company decontaminated the work area and sent all of the other team members for testing. All eight remaining team members tested positive for antibodies.
Wow, get a load of this very surprising tweet from Mike Pence.

Our hearts grieve for the fact that 1 in 5 of all the American lives lost in the Coronavirus pandemic were lost in the state of New York and some of that was because of poor decisions by the state and by Governor Cuomo.
Really kind of shocked that this came from Pence who has been pretty much a cardboard cut-out through this entire thing. It appears they are going to play Pin the Tail on Andrew Cuomo. The gloves are off.
