(U) As explained above, while the OIG's audit has revealed process issues with respect to the FBI's compliance with its Woods Procedures, the Government's review of the dockets audited by the OIG confirms that the information contained in those applications is overwhelmingly supported by documentation. The FBI is committed to ensuring that all applications submitted to this Court adhere to the highest of standards, and it will continue its unflagging efforts to improve the FISA process by emphasizing to its workforce the importance of attention to detail, adherence to policy, and personal accountability.
