Back in the 70s and early 80s Maranatha Praise Music put out some great worship songs for the young hippies that were converted in southern Calif. That worship music was a product of the Jesus movement which mostly came out of Chuck Smith’s Calvary Chapel. I always understood Maranatha to mean, “Come Quickly Lord Jesus”, but that definition out of Corinthian is certainly correct.
