You are exactly right except one thing.

To be honest, I don’t think they can take it any further than they already have. A perfect example of the insane taking over the asylum is in California, Oregon, and Washington state.
The governors of these wastelands are being hammered right now even though finding a conservative in them would be like finding Jimmy Hoffa. The people in the states, are rebelling against the controlling and I feel that soon they will totally tell the state governments where to go and give them a map. The fourth of July was a good example in California. Saw an air born film and even though Newsome told them no fireworks, I’m surprised the place didn’t burn down. And the beaches in Southern California are packed. So much for Newsome.
In Oregon, the mayor of Portland got tear gassed while he was joining the rioters...uh,uh....protesters.
And the chief of police told the city, and the officials, she would not be responsible for crime stats in Seattle with the meddling of the mayor, the legislature, and governor. The worm is turning. They are escalating the loss of control for themselves and I think it will get even more so closer to November. You can’t bleed a turnip.
