The pandemic probably just hastened the inevitable. Today’s soy boys and pajama boys have no taste for good clothes.
People who work from home have no need for them. Times have changed,business suits are obsolete.
And many companies nowadays have relaxed dress codes, so that wearing a suit and tie to work is not required or expected anymore.
The whole “casual Friday” idea has moved on to the rest of the week. Now casual Friday means jeans and T shirts in some workplaces.
Good friend of mine, who manages a Jos. A. Bank store, tells me that the soy boys and metrosexuals are buying loads of those skinny suits with highwater pants.
