Still no answer to my question. The matter of when the world/universe was created. The issue is whether or not Ussher had a clear understanding of history and verifiable dates, recognized as good scholarship by learned researchers not only then but now.

Your thesis is this:

Bishop Ussher's timeline is neither history nor science, and has no bearing on either.

Prove to me that from the end of Noah's flood until his time, Ussher's historic account of civilization was in any way seriously wrong. If you can't do that, then at least part of your thesis is wrong.

I am a scientist in matters that can be observed, and have degrees in it. Right now I am examining your statements to see if they are reliable. So far, in this one you haben't come up to snuff, in my view. Prove me wrong.
