Is this about Holland or the entirety of the Netherlands?

Same thing. Holland IS the Netherlands. I have been there.

Holland is a region within the Netherlands, like a state. There are about ten of them.

For instance, Amsterdam is in North Holland, Rotterdam is in South Holland, and Arnhem is in Gelderland.

We spent a couple days there last year as part of a Rhine River cruise.
