As a kid 15 years old until I was 18 I worked for Denny’s Restaurant #3 in Long Beach, California. I cooked primarily the rotating, or “relief shift” Did you ever go to Hof's hut(burgers) in Long Beach at Belmont Shores? Used to go up there from Huntington Beach back in the day.

Absolutely. I grew up in “the Heights” just above “the Shores”. It was a great time to be young in California.
