It just occurred to me that people WILL actually put those in the ground either as CCP agents, or just to see what grows.

I share this concern. I've been known to plant seeds around my house just because someone gave them to me. Sometimes seed companies send freebies. Of course those are labeled but it's always an experiment.

With the threat of these chicom seeds I may never plant another pack of freebie seeds. While that may have been a bit of an overreactive statement, our American seed stores are a treasure to guard. Given the chicom attacks on our agriculture; anticipated famine from floods, locusts, etc; the chicoms buying up our agricultural facilities; we must guard our food production ability.

One example of what may be in those seed packets is a noxious weed Greater Hogweed. Causes skin blisters and long term irritation. Who's to say those seeds aren't some type of good looking food that's been genetically altered to kill or cause sickness or disease. i.e. looks like a great apple, tastes like a great apple, pass around to the family, sell at the market, only to later discover its destructive power.

conspiracy prone minds can go far with this thinking. What if a trusted seed company is complicit? What if seed packets are compromised? No, I am not currently worried about these things. But if I can think of these scenarios you know the CCP and derps can. Look at GMOs. There are some good reasons to be cautious. Not freaked out, just be wise.

This year I had one radish grow where I planted basil seed. Not dissimilar seeds but it came up in a large pot and I know the soil was sterile. The radish wasn't of the variety I put in the garden some 150 yards distant from the pot of basil. Just anecdotal example of being aware of seed integrity. Threw that radish in the compost bin. I found it after I saw the first notice of those strange seed packets. Just got the wheels turning in my mind.

I generally buy seeds from small non-hybrid aka “heirloom” seed companies, there are many such.

On the twitter batch recently with some about the China seeds, I saw comments from people who did plant some. IDIOTS
