I agree with you that Dershowitz undermines his own credibility when he seems to also be defending Clinton, the sleazebag Prince Andrew etc.
And YET, it makes me wonder if the evidence of Clinton’s many flights to Pedo Island is actually rock-solid. Dershowitz knows MUCH MORE than any of us, and he seems to be “Hanging his hat” on this evidence being false.
I am NOT DEFENDING ANYBODY ... except voicing my opinion, if I were on a Jury and heard Dersh ... and in the absence of the other side’s evidence and witnesses ... and in full knowledge that as a defense attorney he is an accomplished and professional LIAR ... that I find his voice credible.
Maybe someone deeper into this rabbit hole than I am could verify or refute the evidence of Clinton’s many visits to the island. To me, this goes right to the credibility of Dershowitz’ assertions of innocence.
I think the likely existence of evidence in pretty incriminating form (like photos and videos) is the best argument in favor of Dershowitz telling the truth. He doesn’t know what all exists - he can’t possibly know. Even if he thinks it was destroyed, he could never be sure there aren’t copies yet in existence. To lie when it comes down to one person’s word against anothers is one thing, but to lie when incontrovertible evidence is likely to come out is stupid, and Dersh is not stupid.
I have no idea who did what but just based on logical thinking, his confidence that nothing will disprove his claims of innocence are the best argument that they’re true.
However I am not convinced by any of his statements about others, e.g. Bill Clinton, because once again he cannot possibly know. So I think that is a lawyerly attempt to discredit ALL claims by Guiffre on the basis that SOME of them (regarding Dersh) may not be accurate. That’s why each of her claims needs to be investigated and weighed separately. No “guilt OR innocence by association” either, Professor!

That would explain sooo much about the people who bite their fingernails. . . a nervous habit thank God *I’ve* never had, although I’ve had plenty of others. A little off topic but I’ve developed a tic over the last few months and it irritates me but does not worry me, because I can rest comfortably in the knowledge it’s coming from this abominable political situation.

I believe the thinking is that the funding for education should follow the child. The parents would receive a voucher to allow them to obtain education for their child outside of the public school system rather than hand them a pile of cash.
The object is to get the child educated, not necessarily to reduce taxes. Although that would be a good thing in and of itself.

Closing before the election simplifies the securing of votes. The National Guard or Marines can be called in to guard ballots and speed up delivery. Imagine a massive operation in which the entire postal service comes to a standstill for a day to ensure immediate secure delivery of ballots to their polling locations. Fewer post offices simplifies security protocols like cameras, etc.
